About Southern Delight
A place rooted in family, connection, and a legacy that runs deep in this land.
Southern Delight is more than a place to stay. It is a place rooted in family, connection, and a legacy that runs deep in this land.

Sean, Ashley, and their daughters
Ashley and Sean are the owners of Southern Delight. They live in the Delight area with their two daughters and share a love for the outdoors, time with family, and creating spaces where people can truly slow down and be present together.
This home holds a special place in their hearts.

Nawnee
The house was originally envisioned and designed by beloved family members known to many as Nawnee and Hawley. Nawnee had a gift for creating a home that felt warm, welcoming, and full of life. She decorated beautifully, celebrated every season, and created a space where people naturally gathered. Whether it was holidays filled with family visiting from Texas or simple everyday moments, their home was always a place of laughter, connection, and love.
Nawnee was spunky, joyful, and deeply caring. She poured her love into everyone in her own way, especially the children in her life — from grandchildren to nieces, nephews, and little ones across the family — always making each one feel seen and special. She had a natural gift for nurturing and made everyone feel like they belonged. She was a steady presence, someone who made life feel full, and someone so many people loved dearly.
Her passing left a space that is deeply felt, but her spirit continues to live on in this home. Southern Delight is a way to carry that forward.
That same foundation of love, connection, and time spent together runs deep in their family.
The Campbell family has long been known not only for its musical legacy, but for the way it values people, relationships, and being present with one another. Glen Campbell, Sean’s great uncle, carried that spirit in everything he did, with a deep love for his family and for this area. It is a legacy that continues to shape how Ashley and Sean live and what they have created here.
If you spend enough time around Billstown, there’s a good chance you’ll run into a Campbell or two. It might be Sean’s dad, Steve, Glen’s brother, Shorty, or one of the many other family members who still call this area home or come back often to visit.

Music has always been a natural part of that legacy and remains a meaningful part of their lives today. It is a tradition they hope to pass down to their daughters. Sean is a musician and plays alongside his dad, brothers, and close friends in their band, Billstown. He plays multiple instruments, and music continues to be a way their family connects, celebrates, and spends time together across generations.

Sean, Punkin, and Ashley
That same joy and warmth was embodied by Sean’s grandfather, lovingly known as Punkin, Glen’s brother. He was one of the most joyful people you could meet, always ready with a story or a joke, a smile, and a dollar bill for his great-grandchildren. He had a way of making people feel welcome, and his presence is deeply missed.
Southern Delight reflects all of this.
It is a place designed for families and friends to gather, to slow down, to sit on the deck and watch the creek roll by, to laugh, to play games, and to enjoy time together without distraction. Set in the quiet countryside, overlooking Saline Creek and open pastureland, it offers a peaceful backdrop where you can often spot deer passing through and truly take in the stillness of country living.
This home has always been about people. About connection. About creating memories that last.
That is what Ashley and Sean hope every guest experiences during their stay.
